   第一次出国first time abroad

   英国游学A study trip to the UK

   第一次来到英国，也第一次走进国外的课堂。那里开放、包容，重视小组协作，鼓励每个人说出自己的想法。我还在学校礼堂的舞台上跳了一段街舞。从那以后，出国读书的念头更坚定了。

   My first time abroad, and my first taste of a classroom outside China — open, inclusive, built around group work, and genuinely curious about what everyone had to say. I even danced on the stage of the school hall. After that trip, studying abroad stopped being an idea and became a plan.

   第一次做志愿者first time volunteering

   唇腭裂公益救助行动Cleft Lip & Palate Charity Campaign

   6 月 12 日到 17 日，我在西安交大一附院参加唇腭裂公益救助行动：整理患者资料和检查报告，陪家长和孩子走完就诊流程，还采访了医生、专家和患者家属。也是在这几天里，我开始认真考虑，以后要不要把生物当作自己的方向。

   From June 12 to 17, I volunteered at a cleft lip and palate charity campaign at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University — sorting patient files and test reports, walking families through their visits, and interviewing doctors, specialists and parents. Those six days were when I first seriously asked myself whether biology could be my path.

   第一次当「小老师」first time teaching

   社区儿童活动A community kids’ program

   7 月 10 日到 12 日，我在社区活动中心照看小朋友：给他们上课、带着做手工、一起做运动。第一次站到讲台前，我练出了组织和协调能力，也比以前耐心多了。

   From July 10 to 12, I looked after children at our community center — teaching short lessons, leading crafts and playing sports together. It was my first time in front of a "class", and I came away more organized, better at coordinating, and a lot more patient.

   第一次走进大学实验室first time in a university lab

   西安交通大学 · 科研助理Research assistant, Xi’an Jiaotong University

   7 月 15 日到 31 日，我跟着教授和研究生学长学姐做实验、记录数据、参加组会，每周还要做学习汇报。生物学比我想象的更丰富，也离生活更近。这个暑假让我下定决心：以后要学生物。

   From July 15 to 31, I worked alongside a professor and graduate students — running experiments, recording data, sitting in on group meetings and giving a weekly progress report. Biology turned out to be richer, and closer to everyday life, than I’d imagined. That summer I made up my mind: this is what I want to study.

   第一次走进美国大学课堂first American college classroom

   宾夕法尼亚大学夏校Penn Pre-College Summer Program

   我在宾大修读了 Biology Lecture 和 Biology Laboratory 两门学分课程，按宾大本科生的标准考核。第一次到访美国名校，也第一次真正体验美国大学的授课方式和教学体系。

   At the University of Pennsylvania I took two credit-bearing courses, Biology Lecture and Biology Laboratory, graded to the same standard as Penn undergraduates. It was my first visit to an American university, and my first real look at how college science is taught there.

   2026.0811 年级暑假Summer after Grade 11

   把讲解变成对话turning a tour into a conversation

   陕西省志愿服务联合会Shaanxi Provincial Volunteer Service Federation

   8 月 20 日到 25 日，我在共青团陕西省委组织的志愿活动里服务了五天：为市民讲解社会主义建设历程和本地历史文化、清扫市容、解答前来咨询的问题，还帮新志愿者注册「志愿汇」APP。

   For five days in late August, I volunteered with the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League — explaining local history and the story of the region’s development to residents, helping keep the streets clean, answering visitors’ questions, and signing new volunteers up on the Zhiyuanhui app.
